May the 4th be with you

today is the first day of finals week. I had my micro exam at 11am and if you read my other blog, then you know it didn’t go to well. If I don’t get a B on that test, which I haven’t all semester , then I won’t get a B in the class which isnt good enough for the nursing program. I will still pass the class with a high C, which is good for the university but not for the college. Tomorrow at 8am I have my medical terminology exam. That’s 100 questions, multiple choice; shouldn’t be too bad. Then another at 11am on Wednesday; that’s Anatomy and physiology. I have two tests in the section. Then Thursday is sociology at 2pm and I’m moving out right after that!

Summer of 2015 will start on Thursday. It will be freedom from stress, roommates, my “friends”, school work and this college city. I am so excited! Only 3 more days.

God bless and may the fourth be with you

Micro

So since January I have had to deal with the worse microbiology professor known to man! She knows her stuff, don’t get me wrong, but she is not a teacher. SHE CAN NOT TEACH! and she has NO patience for us! We can not ask her a question or go to her for anything without her making us feel like we are stupid. I just sit in her class and try to pay attention. She has these notes that she prints out for us (her trying to be nice to us) but they are just the words copied and pasted from the powerpoints, no pictures, no indentation, no punctuation. its just random words vomited on a page. And if you were to try to take notes, you wouldn’t be able to keep up or write the microorganisms names right. Sitting in that class is so painful because I can’t understand her or comprehend what she is saying. I have to go a couple of days before the test and study on my own, learn on my own.

The worst thing about all of this is the whole class thinks this. We complain about her and they just don’t do anything, she is the only professor that can teach lecture. And don’t even get me started about the lab…
